What Now San Antonio reports that Max & Louie’s New York Diner is expanding to a second location at 18152 I-35 N in Cibolo, with construction expected to wrap in March 2026. The 8,000-square-foot, from-the-ground-up diner will seat about 300 guests and bring the same family-focused menu and “fanatical hospitality” as the flagship on W. Bitters Road.

The beloved diner, Max & Louie's New York Diner, is expanding, with a new restaurant coming to Cibolo in the city's Cibolo Crossing area, with a bar serving "all-day breakfast, sandwiches and American comfort food."In a March 2022 review of the full-service New York-style deli and cafe, Express-News food critic Mike Sutter praised the joint for its wide variety of menu options, which include a Reuben sandwich with "so much sliced pastrami and corned beef ... that the rye bread was hanging on for dear life."Sutter said he wouldn't have it any other way, and that the eatery offered one of San Antonio's "most satisfying deli sandwich experiences."Stay tuned for more details on Max & Louie's Cibolo Crossing opening date.

Beloved East Coast-style diner Max & Louie’s is headed to Cibolo for a new outpost at the Cibolo Crossing development at FM 3009 and Cibolo Valley Drive. The city’s Economic Development Department spilled the beans on the upcoming restaurant.

Max & Louie’s brings the heart and soul of the East Coast to Texas. With an extensive eight-page menu, the diner serves up Jewish deli favorites such as knishes, matzo ball soup, and pastrami sandwiches, alongside classic burgers, pizza, and all-day breakfast. “My definition of hospitality is exceeding expectations,” says Drew Glick, owner. The diner, located at 226 W. Bitters Road, Ste. 126, continues to win over locals with its authentic flavors and welcoming atmosphere.
